Using a DTU Template - Copy Elements

Once you have created a page based on a DTU template, it is possible to copy elements from other pages that are part of the DTU templates. Specifically the "07_elements", "08_images", "09_accordions" and "10_tabs" pages contain different elements relevant for insertion into your page. This allows for further customization of each page.

Follow these steps:

  1. Click "Course Content" and then "Content".
  2. Go to the page you want to copy an element from and click "Edit HTML".

  3. Highlight the relevant element and copy it.
    NB: to make sure the whole element is copied and not just the text, copy the small lines of text above and below the element as well.

  4. Go to the page you want to paste it into and click "Edit HTML".
  5. Paste the element at the relevant position in the page. Remember to click "Save and Close".
  6. If a "Shared Files Warning" pops up, choose "Save a copy of this file in Course Offering Files".
