User Events

The Team for Digital Learning Tools offers workshops and support – both in-person and online - for teachers and administrative employees, focusing on DTU Learn and the integrated tools.

We continuously add new sessions to the program below, where we provide relevant perspectives for both new and experienced users.

All sessions are conducted in English.

If you cannot attend a workshop or find one that suits your needs, explore self-study materials on this site and on DTU Learn.

Additionally, if you can gather at least 5 participants, contact us with details and suggestions for workshop topics, time, and place.

And we are always interested in hearing your input for future workshops: dtulearn@dtu.dk.

Upcoming events:

Preparing Your Course for the upcoming semester in DTU Learn

In this webinar, we will set up a course from scratch, explaining each step along the way. This includes structuring course materials in the Content tab, creating a Course Overview, setting up assignments, considering group configurations, adding colleagues, and activating your course. Following the webinar, we will have an extended question time where we will help you set up your course, including integrated tools such as Panopto, Vevox, and Feedback Fruits.

Vevox - DTU's New Polling Tool

Vevox is polling tool for use in lectures and other presentations that can be used by everyone at DTU. Vevox can be used in both online and offline teaching. It is commonly used to engage students, check on understanding, or simply as a funny break in the lecture. Read more in Learning Lab's article on Quizzing and Polling. With Vevox, you can create multiple choice questions, word clouds, or ask participants to pin point themselves on a map. Everything can be done anonymously or with participant registration.

Create Interactive Learning Materials with Thinglink

ThingLink is a tool for creating interactive learning materials by enriching 360-degree images, videos, and 3D models with elements like audio, video, text, and documents as well as embedded third-party tools. In this training we'll go through how to access your ThingLink license, what type of content you can create with ThingLink by using our multimedia editor, as well as how you can share your content and collaborate with others.

Videos and Streaming with Panopto

In this webinar, we will discuss the technical facilities in auditoriums, focusing on new auto-tracking cameras, presets, and combining auditoriums. The session will also include a presentation on first-year students' opinions and experiences with streaming.

New events, including webinars and workshops, will be listed here. Announcements will also be made on Inside.
